Purpose
Similarly to WWTPs (Wastewater Treatment Plants), the chemical preparation unit can be used in almost every industrial sector. This unit is a facility for fully automated or manual preparation, storage, and dosing of solutions of various substances (e.g., flocculant, bentonite, lime milk) of the required concentration from powdered and emulsion concentrates.
Its primary use is for the preparation of flocculant solutions – substances primarily intended for the precipitation of various types of sludge before their processing on belt presses, thickeners, or other equipment.
Technical requirements
- Voltage system: 3 + PEN ~ 50Hz, 400V, TN – S,
- Drinking water (flow 2-3 m3/hour, pressure approx. 0.3 MPa),
- Suitable type of flocculant (powder, emulsion).
Device description
The tanks are made of polypropylene sheets by welding, connected into a compact unit, forming the skeleton of the device, on which all components of the chemical preparation unit are placed (the composition of the device components depends on the type or customer requirements). The equipment also includes a distribution box, from which the power supply and protection of individual electrical components are provided. Safety elements (main switch, central stop) and a control display, which is used to control the operation of the device, are located on the doors of the distribution box.
Type table
In addition to the standardly manufactured types (see the table below), VANEX can functionally customize the equipment according to the requirements and specifications of the customer.
